The Charisma V2 marks the new pinnacle amongst clearaudio’s moving magnet cartridges. After clearaudio has long been setting standards at the absolute world-class level with its moving coil cartridges, the aim was to create a true statement amongst moving magnet pickups as well.

Peak of the moving magnets
The range from concept V2 to Maestro V2 already regularly convinces specialist press and music fans of the high quality standard of clearaudio MM cartridges. The Charisma V2 now places itself at the peak of these “moving magnets”.
Technology from the Goldfinger Statement
For this, only the very best from clearaudio was an option: the diamond-doped boron cantilever is the same as in the Goldfinger Statement. The double-polished diamond is mounted onto the cantilever with the utmost precision.
High output voltage
Particularly strong magnets give the dynamic Charisma V2 an almost record-breakingly high output voltage of around 3.6 mV. This enables it to drive even less sensitive MM phono preamplifiers effortlessly.
Ebony with nickel silver inlay
Excellent frequency responses and high channel separation form the foundation for its performance. Complementing the hand-crafted ebony body, a clearaudio nickel silver inlay smooths out unwanted resonances.
